More Summit County Activites

There are two recreation centers in Summit county that are open to the public: one in Breckenridge and the other in Silverthorne. These facilities provide year-round swimming, weight rooms, cardio, rock climbing, yoga and other activities. For information about the Breckenridge recreation facility, click here. Breckenridge has the longest whitewater kayak park in the state of Colorado. This 1,800-foot park includes 15 special features such as s-curves, drop structures, eddy pools, splash rocks, and play waves. Ride the kayak park free of charge from April to August depending on water flow.
