There are many good restaurants in Summit County. I am going to tell you my favorite places to eat. At most high-end restaurants you will need a reservation. Always call and ask if they take reservations, and ask if there is a wait for a table. Most people eat early in Breckenridge and other resorts, freeing up tables free up after 8:00 p.m.

Cafe Alpine $$$ New American cooking. Classy atmosphere, delicious food and wines. Come here for a special well-prepared dinner. 453-8218

South Ridge Seafood $$ Shrimp happy hour, well-put-together dishes. A classic old atmosphere. Nice place for cocktails. 547-0063

Extreme Pizza $ This pizza parlor has more toppings than you could ever imagine! For pizza variety, this is the place to come. 547-0399

Kenosha Steakhouse $$ Moderate-priced steak and BBQ restaurant. Great location and nice well-priced large entrees. 453-7313

Fatty's Pizzeria $ Pizzas and nightly specials. You can get "family style" meals here to go or enjoy in this sports bar environment. Popular locals bar. 453-9802

Giampietro's Pizza-$ Hand-tossed pizza and Italian entrees. Yum, yum. This small restaurant is always busy. The pasta dishes are very satisfying. 453-3838

Columbine Cafe $ Famous for quality breakfasts. Quality eggs benedict and other entrees to start your day with. 547-4474

Bubba Gumps $$ Seafood family restaurant. Entertaining and good daily specials. I like the stuffed shrimp. 547-9000

The Crown Cafe- $ Quiet and romantic spot for light eats, desserts and cocktails. Step inside and you enter a different world. 453-6022

Mi Casa $$ My favorite Mexican restaurant. Great margs, duck quesadillas and other entrees. Overlooks the Blue River. 453-2071

Hearthstone $$$ Hiqh guality steak and seafood. Consistent quality from appetizers to desserts. I like dining upstairs. 453-1148

Blue River Bistro $$ Quality pasta, martini happy hours, live music on weekends. 453-0514

Breckenridge Brewery $$ Beer made on premises. Pub food. Try the fish & chips. 453-0928

MiZuppa $ Soups, salads and sandwiches. A great meal for less money. A good choice for lunch. Nice variety that changes every day. 547-4797 Breck and 668-8138 Frisco
