Summit County camping
Many camping options are available in the county. You can camp deep in the forest, close to multiple hiking trails and everything in between. Some people prefer camping on Lake Dillon for the beauty and convenient location to local towns. The White River National Forest Service maintains numerous campsites.
Reservations can be made for many of the campsites by calling USFS at 877-444-6777 or on the web at: http://www.recreation.gov/marketing.do?goto=/welcomeToNewRecreationGov.html.
