The Azores, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and deep-sea hydrothermal vents embody the anima mundi as events in time and space. The particular spiritus loci of the Azorean Archipelago and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge may include the seeds of new life from depths of both ocean and psyche. The Azorean tradition of keeping the Cult of the Holy Spirit alive may signal the recognition and return of the divine feminine as co-creatrix; the return of respect for the common good; and the honoring of all life.
